Cybercriminals continue to operate in search of targets. Recent findings indicate that criminals from several countries are organized into a dangerous gang with the potential to hack people’s personal data.

The perpetrators use a nearly identical method: using articles on websites to leave messages containing links. These links are indicative of malicious links and can be used as the basis for hacking data.

Those suspected of being organized as a gang in carrying out cybercrime are spammers located in different countries. However, they are carrying out their actions at approximately the same time and leaving messages with nearly identical content.

After reviewing and investigating, based on the information uncovered, it turns out that the gang consists of individual spammers from Singapore, Indonesia, China, Thailand, India, and the United States. Although, in more detail, there are indications of individuals from other countries carrying out similar alleged crimes.

More detailed data regarding the internet services used by spammers has been detected, supported by other information, including the global location of the spammers and the hostnames of the internet networks.

Based on analysis of the time spent, the way messages are left, the types of links, and the words used, it can be tentatively concluded that the group is an organized spammer.

Based on this experience, website owners and email users are advised to keep spam functions enabled and enhance spam security by using additional features and plugins. This way, you can truly be protected from cybercrime, both from spammers and data hackers.
